Privacy

No accounts, no trackers. What happens on-chain is public by nature; the rest stays small and local.

01

No accounts

k'hook has no accounts, sign-ups, passwords or email lists. You use it by connecting a wallet.

Connecting shares your public address with the page. It never shares your keys or seed phrase, and k'hook never asks for them.

02

On-chain data is public

Wallet addresses, balances, launches, trades and claims on Robinhood Chain are public by nature. Anything you do through k'hook is recorded on-chain, permanently, and anyone can read it and link it to your address. k'hook cannot hide, edit or delete it.

Launch metadata is public too: the name, ticker, image, description and links you enter are pinned to IPFS and referenced on-chain by the token's metadataURI.

03

What your browser stores

The site keeps a few things in your own browser, never on a k'hook server:

  • Wallet connection state. Kept by the wallet library so your wallet reconnects on the next visit.
  • Launch draft. The Master launch form keeps your unsent draft in sessionStorage until you launch or close the tab.

k'hook sets no tracking cookies. Clearing site data removes all of it.

04

Server logs

The web server and the indexer keep standard request logs: IP address, user agent, requested path and time. They exist to run the service, fix it and keep it up under abuse.

Logs are kept for a short period, are not used for profiling and are not sold or shared.

05

No advertising trackers

No advertising trackers, no analytics pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party marketing scripts.

06

Third parties

Using k'hook means talking to services k'hook does not run. Each sees your IP address and the requests you send, under its own policy:

  • Robinhood Chain RPC endpoints. Your wallet and the site read chain state and send transactions through them.
  • WalletConnect relay, only if you connect through WalletConnect.
  • Your wallet (extension or app) and the infrastructure behind it.
  • IPFS pinning and gateways. Launch metadata is pinned to IPFS; token images load from public IPFS gateways.
  • The k'hook indexer. A read-only API behind Explore, charts, trades and holders. Your browser reaches it through the site.
  • Blockscout, when you open an address or transaction on the explorer.

07

Your choices

Use a fresh wallet, a VPN or your own RPC endpoint to limit what third parties can link to you. Disconnect your wallet and clear site data at any time.

What is already on-chain stays on-chain.
