01

Software only

k'hook is software: a web interface to smart contracts deployed on Robinhood Chain. It is not an exchange, a broker, a custodian or a financial service.

By using the site or the contracts you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use k'hook.

02

No custody

The site never holds keys, ETH or tokens. Every launch, swap, claim and redemption is a transaction you sign in your own wallet and send to Robinhood Chain yourself.

  • Nobody operating k'hook can move, freeze or recover your funds.
  • Nobody can reverse, cancel or replay a transaction for you.
  • A lost key or seed phrase cannot be recovered. Keep your own backups.

03

No advice

Nothing on k'hook is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

Tokens are created by users. Anyone can launch one, with any name, ticker, logo or description. A token on Explore is not a listing, an endorsement or a vet. Badges, rankings and labels are heuristics computed from on-chain data. Decide for yourself.

04

Fees and no refunds

A launch costs a launch fee of 0.0005 ETH plus gas. Swaps pay the 1% base fee and any hook tax the creator froze at launch, in the pool's quote. Where those fees go is described in Fees.

Fees and gas stay spent. A failed, reverted, mistaken or regretted transaction is not refunded, and neither is a launch nobody trades.

05

Risks

You can lose everything you put in. Among the risks:

  • Most tokens go to zero. Prices are violent and liquidity can vanish.
  • Copycats. Names, tickers, logos and socials are copied constantly. Verify the contract address every time.
  • Contract bugs. Smart contracts can fail in ways nobody anticipated. Not every configuration is audited.
  • Custom hooks can honeypot. A pool whose hook is not k'hook's MasterLaunchHook or GraduatedFeeHook can tax, block or trap sells.
  • Thin books. A printed price is not an exit. Selling into a shallow pool moves the price, sometimes most of the way to zero.
  • Outages. RPC endpoints, wallets and the indexer can lag or fail, and the site can then show stale, wrong or empty data. The chain is the source of truth.

The full list lives under Risks in the docs.

06

Immutable contracts

Deployed contracts are immutable. Nobody can change a live launch's modules, tax or vest plan, unlock its LP, or change the 1% base fee and its 60 / 10 / 30 split.

New versions ship as new factory addresses. Existing launches keep the rules they launched with. The few protocol parameters that stay owner-settable are listed under Risks in the docs.

07

Eligibility and restricted jurisdictions

You must be of legal age where you live and allowed to use software like k'hook under the laws that apply to you. Do not use k'hook if you are a sanctioned person or located in a sanctioned or embargoed region.

Stock Tokens are not available to U.S. persons and are restricted in other jurisdictions. Do not buy, sell, launch against or receive Stock Tokens through k'hook where they are not available to you.

You are responsible for your taxes and for following your local law.

08

Independence

k'hook is independent software deployed on Robinhood Chain. Not affiliated with Robinhood.

Robinhood Chain, Stock Tokens, USDG, Uniswap and Chainlink are third-party networks, assets and protocols with their own terms. k'hook does not issue, redeem or back any of them. k'hook's contracts are an MIT-licensed port of hookit; the license and notice ship with the source.

09

No warranty

k'hook is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing guarantees that the site, the indexer or the contracts are available, accurate, secure or free of bugs.

10

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the people who build and operate k'hook are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or the contracts: lost funds, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid through k'hook in the twelve months before the claim.

11

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using k'hook after a change means you accept it.
